Take-Home Midterm

I had my test in macroeconomics yesterday. I think I did fine and it was a little easier than what I expected it to be.

The test consisted of 50 multiple-choice questions and one essay question. I did the essay question first because I like to get rid of the hard stuff first.

I was really tired in the morning so I bought iced coffee at Starbucks to drink in class. One negative thing when it comes to iced coffee is that the cup becomes pretty wet as time passes.

I accidently put my scantron sheet next to my coffee because I wanted to check the essay question one last time. The table was pretty wet there because of the coffee so my scantron paper became useless, and I had to fill in a new sheet.

That was pretty annoying because it takes a while to fill it in. It also made me a little nervous because it is easy to make a mistake when you copy another paper like that. I think I did everything right though.

I went to Chinatown in Manhattan today. I did not do that much though but I had one of my favorite dishes, chow mein. It was a little different than normal chow mein because it contained a lot of onion and mushroom. It tasted good though.

I have to do a take home midterm this weekend. I was thinking about doing it today but I didn’t really get in the mood for it. I will probably do it tomorrow or the day after. I have looked it over so I know what to write about it. I have a few good ideas.

The take home is more of a case actually. It is about creating a strategy for a company called Parker. They experienced some big problems concerning, among other things, decentralization and economy of scale.

It is really interesting so I will probably enjoy doing it. The festival in my neighborhood will end after this weekend. I am glad that it does actually because the food is just too expensive. I thought festival food would be cheap, but I was obviously wrong.
